6 Days Maasai Mara/ Lake Nakuru Safari

Day 1: Nairobi City
Arrival at Nairobi JKIA and will be met by our representative and transferred to the city’s Heron Hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi-Mara
Depart Nairobi for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch and a late afternoon/early evening game drive in this ‘big game country’ famed worldwide for its high animal concentration, abundance and variety. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sidai camp.

Day 3/4: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early breakfast then proceed for a full day tracking game with your guide in this park whose landscape is savannah grassland on rolling hills. Virtually every type of animal is found in the Mara, which has an extensive road, and track network, which allows excellent photography and viewing opportunities, making it the best and most visited park in Kenya. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sidai camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara–Lake Nakuru
Breakfast and leave the Mara region for Nakuru, with game drive en route. Arriving in Lake Nakuru in time for an evening game drives which has prolific bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stock among others. Water-buck and Cape buffalo can be seen near the shoreline. Rothschild’s giraffe and the white rhino are additional attractions among other species of plains game and cats like lion. With lunch you may spot leopard, which is rather elusive. Dinner and Overnight at Waterbuck Hotel.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
Breakfast, after proceed to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon followed by a transfer to JKI airport to fly back home.

5 Days Tsavo East/ Tsavo West & Mombasa

Day 1: Nairobi
Arrival Nairobi JKI airport, met by our representative and transferred to Heron Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi –Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Amboseli via Namanga arriving in Amboseli early afternoon in time for lunch. After lunch proceed on a game drive in this park, which lies in a dried up Lakebed. There are swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which give permanent water to the wildlife. The animals seen here include lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, plains game and the rare Taita weaver and the gerenuk. The animals are mainly found around the Ol Kenya swamp. If the weather is clear and there is low cloud cover, you may see the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which forms a beautiful backdrop to the park. The observation hill offers a view of the entire park and beyond. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Sentrim.

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
Breakfast and after, depart Amboseli in the morning and drive via the Shaitani lava flow to Tsavo West National Park. Spend the afternoon game viewing with a visit to the Mzima Springs replenished with millions of liters of crystal-clear water every day from underground streams stemming from lava masses of Chyulu Hills. Mzima forms a haven for rich wildlife pageant. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari camp.

Day 4: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
Depart Tsavo West in the morning with game drives en route to Tsavo East National Park and visit Aruba Dam. Afternoon game viewing in the park, and embark on game drive in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, antelopes e.t.c. Dinner and Overnight at Ndololo Safari Camp.

Day 5: Tsavo East – Nairobi
Breakfast and thereafter leave for Tsavo West for Nairobi.

8 DAYS ABERDARES|SAMBURU|LAKE NAKURU|LAKE BOGORIA|LAKE NAIVASHA

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
Arrival at Nairobi JKIA will be met by our company representative and transferred to Hotel Boulevard for Overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi – Aberdares
Depart Nairobi and drive north to Nyeri and the Outspan Hotel. A country style lunch at Outspan Hotel. In the afternoon transfer into the Aberdare National Park to Treetops for an evening of nocturnal game watching. Dinner and Overnight at KWS Banda’s.

Day 3: Aberdares – Samburu
Return to the Outspan for breakfast and after depart for Samburu National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy’s zebra gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephants and lions. Samburu is located north of the central mountains and the equator. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sentrim.

DAY 4: Samburu

Morning and afternoon game viewing in search of the Big five, Gravy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Graceful Gerenuk and Reticulated Giraffe. Game viewing drives at Samburu in search of the rarely found species of wild game like the rare liver-red reticulated giraffe, gravy’s zebra, the long necked gerenuk, antelopes, Beisa, Oryx, blue flanked Somali ostrich, vulturine guinea fowl and also braving lions on the grass, leopards in the trees and plenty of other plains game. In between meals there is optional visit to the Samburu villages if clients so wish at an extra cost. All meals and Overnight at Samburu Sentrim.

Day 5: Samburu – Lake Nakuru
Breakfast and drive around the northern part of the Aberdares Range to descend into the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stopover at the Thompson Falls in Nyahururu, then drive on to Lake Nakuru for a truly remarkable game drive that includes flamingoes as well as the rare white rhino in this world famous ornithological paradise with over 450 species of bird life. This lake is famous for its million plus flamingos. A shimmering hot-pink glow emanates across the lake, created by millions of flamingos, which migrate along the Great Rift Valley Lakes. Pelicans, cormorants and Marabou storks also feed on the abundant algae in the warm, shallow alkaline water. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at the Waterbuck Hotel.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Lake Bogoria
Depart Nakuru for Lake Bogoria to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to the spectacular Lake Bogoria, which is a shallow soda lake with beautiful scenery and also home to a sizable number of flamingoes and other species of birds. The highlight, however, is the boiling hot springs and geysers, which also contribute to the beauty of the lake. Afternoon at leisure with an option of either having a dip at the swimming pool or a guided bird walk. Optional Boat trip to see the hippos and crocodiles is available at an extra cost.

All meals and overnight at Lake Bogoria Hotel.

Day 7: Lake Bogoria – Lake Naivasha
On this day our safari will be destined for Lake Naivasha, the only fresh water lake in the Rift Valley, arriving in Naivasha in time for lunch at the lodge. The lake is home to a large colony of hippos and it’s also a haven for bird watchers and researchers since over 400 different species of birds have been recorded here. The lake’s location and wildlife makes it an ideal place for an afternoon boat ride $20 extra. You can also decide to take walks in the famous Naivasha Gorge or visit to the liberating Crescent Island at an extra $20, which is completely undeveloped, wild and free, is one of the few places on earth where you can walk among herds of zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, giraffe and dikdiks. There are no predators and no fences so it will be quite a liberating and exciting feeling to walk among the wildlife. Later enjoy your dinner prepared from the freshest lakeside produce and ingredients. Dinner and overnight at Crayfish Camp.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
Breakfast and depart for Nairobi, arriving in time for your flight home.

9 Days Lake Nakuru/ Masai Mara/ Tsavo safari & Mombasa

Day 01: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Nakuru to arrive at Waterbuck Hotel for lunch and later leave for an afternoon game drive which will reveal a prolific bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stock among others. Waterbuck and Cape buffalo can be seen near the shoreline. Rothschild’s giraffe and the white rhino are additional attractions among other species of plains game and cats like lion. With luck you may spot a leopard, which is rather elusive. All Meals and Overnight at Waterbuck Hotel.

Day 02: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning breakfast and after depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara to arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sidai camp.

Day 03: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives from the comfortable base of the lodge, explore the park’s amazing high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya ‘s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Balloon safari will be in the morning at an extra cost of US$425. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sidai camp.

Day 04: Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast leave the Mara region for Nairobi with game drives en route, arriving in Nairobi to check in at Hotel Boulevard for Overnight.

Day 06: Nairobi / Tsavo West/ Tsavo East
After breakfast, drive along Nairobi – Mombasa highway to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive and a visit to Mzima Springs (The source of drinking water for Mombasa). After lunch, drive to Tsavo East which is renowned for its lard numbers of elephants and the famous Man eating lions (during the building of Kenya / Uganda Railway in 1890). All meals and overnight at Tsavo Lodge.

Day 07: Tsavo East / Mombasa 
After breakfast and your final game drive, transfer to Mombasa arriving in time for check in and lunch at Bamburi Beach Hotel/ Kenya Bay Beach (3***). Relax on the beach for the rest of the day in time for dinner. Overnight at the beach hotel.

Day 08: Mombasa beach
Breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beaches. Dinner and overnight at Bamburi Beach Hotel/ Kenya Bay Beach.

Day 09: Mombasa-Nairobi
Breakfast and leave the hotel for for the public bus station for your scheduled bus to Nairobi, arriving in time for your next destination.

Lake Bogoria is a shallow soda lake hosting thousands of pink flamingoes, a large number of other birds and the lesser kudu. Scalding hot springs and geysers at the southern end of the lake spurt and steam their alkaline waters. The bubbling of hot springs, hundreds of singing weaverbirds and a million flamingos feeding in the bluish water presents a rare scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Hotel.

Day 10: Nairobi
Breakfast and after, leave for Nairobi to arrive in time for your flight home.
